The Next Act Campaign
We're raising $52,000 to expand our programming fund — bringing more artists, more genres, and more nights of live music to Simsbury Meadows.
The Next Act Campaign
The Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center is a remarkable success story of community vision, partnership, and dedication to the arts. Since its creation in 2005, the venue has grown into a vibrant hub for cultural and recreational events, enhancing the quality of life for Simsbury residents and visitors alike. From hosting the Hartford Symphony Orchestra to community festivals, marathons, and more, the space has truly become "MORE THAN A STAGE."
-
As we near our 20th anniversary, the Center is embarking on an exciting chapter with plans for significant enhancements. The addition of artist dressing rooms, a green room, permanent staff offices, accessible public restrooms, and critical storage space will not only enrich the experience for performers and guests but also ensure the long-term sustainability of the venue.
Thanks to a generous grant from the State of Connecticut, support from the Town of Simsbury, and the efforts of private donors and board members, much of the funding is already in place. However, the success of the NEXT ACT CAPITAL CAMPAIGN will be crucial to raise the remaining funds needed. Breaking ground in Fall 2025 is the target, positioning the venue to expand its offerings and serve even more diverse audiences in the future.
The Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center exemplifies the power of collaboration in creating a legacy that will continue to inspire, entertain, and connect the community for decades to come. Now more than ever there is a greater need for performance and educational space. Help the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center achieve THE NEXT ACT by becoming a sponsor and supporter of the arts. The future of the Performing Arts Center is in your hands.
